Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:
unused, with all original tags attached.
In its original, undamaged packaging.
Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
2. How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at support@avafia.com.
Important Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.
3. Return Shipping Fees
Defective or Wrong Items: If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will provide a prepaid shipping label, and you will incur no cost.
Customer Remorse (Change of Mind): If you are returning an item for personal reasons (e.g., you changed your mind, chose the wrong size/style), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Restocking Fee: We charge $0 restocking fees for all eligible returns.
4. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately at support@avafia.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
5. Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
Certain types of items cannot be returned due to their nature:
Perishable goods (such as living plants, flowers, or biological items).
Custom products (such as special orders, personalized items, or custom aquascaping designs).
Personal care goods (such as beauty products).
Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
On-Sale items and Gift Cards (All sales on discounted items and gift cards are final).

6. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
7. European Union Customers (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. The item must still meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned in Section 1 (unworn, with tags, in original packaging).
8. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved.
If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at support@avafia.com.
